DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 21, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Kyle Kuzma (vs GS – $7,600): Needs 34.5 fantasy points. Kuzma has been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games. And with Lonzo now out of the lineup, Kuzma will take all the shots. He’s the most reliable option for the Lakers given his scoring ability and they will need his scoring in this one. I think this could be ugly for the Lakers but I’m going to trust that Kuzma will do enough to at least get you value, even in a blowout. Diagnosis: Reliable and a high ceiling if the Lakers can keep it competitive.
Draymond Green (at LAL – $6,500): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. Draymond had 36 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 18. He’s starting to look a little more like himself and now with another All-Star in the lineup, his job becomes even easier. And he already had an easy job next to the other three All-Stars. If the Warriors are going to blowout the Lakers, Draymond will play a big part in it. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jayson Tatum (vs MIA – $6,200): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. Tatum bounced back from a poor performance against the Grizzlies with 35.75 fantasy points against the Hawks on Jan. 19. He’s been good more often than not during the recent run for the Celtics, doing a bit of everything but mainly making up his production with scoring and defense. He should do enough in this game to at least get you value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
