Players costing $6,667 or under

DeMarcus Cousins (at LAL – $5,100): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. Cousins returned to the lineup and had 30.7 fantasy points in 15 minutes. Let’s just call it a season and see you in October. He’s going to still be on a minutes restriction but the Warriors are clearly making an effort to get him involved. And this should be an easy matchup for him to be involved in because the Lakers are rather weak in the frontcourt. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevon Looney (at LAL – $4,400): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. Cousins is back, which means less opportunities for Looney, but his minutes will remain up for the time being as Cousins works his way back to full health and game shape. The matchup is a good one for Looney and he’s not really going to hurt you at this salary. And if this one turns as ugly as I think it might, Looney will get some extra run. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Ivica Zubac (vs GS – $4,300): Needs 19.2 fantasy points. Zubac had 29.9 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 19. He’s been good off the bench for the Lakers and should get some minutes in this one as the Warriors frontcourt is still a bit suspect with Cousins on a minutes restriction. You can also look at McGee in this spot but he’ll probably see more time against Cousins and that likely won’t go well for him.Diagnosis:
