High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

JJ Redick (vs HOU – $5,600): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. There’s a lot to love about the value shooting guard position. I’m not sure you can go wrong with anyone from Buddy Hield down to the Dwyane Wade. I like Redick because he’s not only shooting well right now but this is a game where he’s going to get more shots. The Rockets force teams to shoot more 3s because they shoot so many threes. And Redick is by far the best shooter on the Sixers and they find ways to get him shots. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Eric Gordon (at PHI – $5,500): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Gordon was up to 40 fantasy points against the Lakers on Jan. 19. And his salary has dropped which is good news for you. He’s a fantastic second option next to Harden and can do a bit of everything, but mostly makes his bed with his scoring. This should be another strong outing for Gordon because he’s constantly delivered when Chris Paul has been sidelined. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Dwyane Wade (at BOS – $5,000): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Wade has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. And now he plays the Celtics on MLK Day. Here’s what we know about DWade: He lives for these games. He raises his level of play and always shows up in these games. I have no doubt about Wade’s ability to get numbers and keep Miami competitive in this game. It’s his last MLK Day game and he will perform. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
