High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (at LAL – $10,200): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. There’s no real mystery when it comes to Durant’s game. He’s going to get you at least value and always has the ability to do more wit his scoring. Not going up against LeBron makes me like him a little less as he always raises his game when he plays LeBron. But the Lakers are still a good matchup for him as their defense is not good. Durant will produce as he typically does. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Brandon Ingram (vs GS – $6,700): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. The good news is that Ingram’s salary has dropped to a semi-acceptable level. The bad news is that he’s still Brandon Ingram. I really want to like his game but his game isn’t very good. If Lonzo Ball is out, someone has to run point for the Lakers and it’ll be Ingram with a dose of Lance Stephenson. Yes, those are the options for the Lakers. Be scared. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Justise Winslow (at BOS – $6,500): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. Winslow has been letting me down a bit but he’s the next highest salary available with LeBron not playing and it being a weak night at small forward. Winslow did have 36.9 fantasy points against the Celtics on Jan. 10. He typically gets the minutes and opportunities to produce and is more reliable than Ingram. They play a similar game but Winslow is more steady. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
