FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 21, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Royce O’Neale (vs POR – $5,300): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Aside from a rough outing against the Pistons, O’Neale has been very good since being inserted into the starting lineup. The minutes are there and O’Neale typically does a bit of everything. A role player will have to step up in this kind of game and O’Neale seems like the guy who will be able to do just that. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
DeMarre Carroll (vs SAC – $4,800): Needs 20.1 fantasy points. Carroll was down to 18.3 fantasy points against the Magic on Jan. 18. Don’t be too concerned. He’s been good more often than not during this stretch and the Kings are a good matchup for him on Monday. Expect a bounce back performance from Carroll in this one. He’s at a nice salary given his usual production. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Evan Turner (at UTA – $4,700): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. Turner was up to 30.7 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 18. He’s becoming a reliable option again and the minutes are typically there coming off the bench. He does a bit of everything on most nights and much like I think O’Neale will be the role player to step up for the Jazz, Turner will be that guy for the Blazers. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
