High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

John Collins (vs ORL – $8,300): Needs 36.1 fantasy points. Collins’ game has tailed off a bit recently as he’s missed value in three straight. He’s rarely going to hurt you because he plays a reliable game with his scoring and rebounding. But he needs to do more to justify the salary. I don’t know what to make of Collins right now. I like his game overall and this matchup, but he’s a slight risk based on recent play. Diagnosis: Cold but a high ceiling.

Kyle Kuzma (vs GS – $7,500): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. The Lakers need scoring and Kuzma is about their only reliable scoring option. This one could get ugly in Los Angeles because the Warriors will be out for blood. Unless they decide to troll the Lakers into think this team is fine and doesn’t need to make changes. Don’t put that past the Warriors. Kuzma will need a big game and even in a blowout, should do enough to at least get value. Diagnosis: Reliable but I have a bad feeling about this one for the Lakers.

Draymond Green (at LAL – $7,400): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. Green is starting to look a bit more like himself, the Warriors are now healthy and the end is near. More than anyone, he’ll want to make up for that poor showing on Christmas Day. He can do a bit of everything and with a healthy lineup, his job becomes even easier. He’ll put up numbers in all categories and have an overall strong game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
