High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Russell Westbrook (vs POR – $11,000): Needs 51.6 fantasy points. Westbrook’s numbers have been down in the last couple of games. The Knicks game was a blowout while the Sixers game was just a poor passing night, which isn’t the norm for him. Expect him to be better in this game because numbers are rarely an issue for him. And he always plays well against the Blazers in terms of getting numbers. If nothing else, he’s reliable in this spot. And the circumstances for the Blazers aren’t great with the late back-to-back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Damian Lillard (at OKC – $8,100): Needs 38 fantasy points. Lillard had 49 fantasy points against the Jazz on Monday. It’s a late back-to-back for the Blazers while the Thunder got back to OKC early and should be rested. But the Blazers typically have the number of OKC. This is a tough game to read but Lillard will get plenty of shots and assist opportunities. Numbers shouldn’t be an issue but his ceiling might be a little lower. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (vs SAC – $7,600): Needs 35.7 fantasy points. Lowry had 33.5 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 19. It was a blowout so don’t be too concerned. The Kings are on a back-to-back but they are scrappy and should be able to stay in this game. Lowry will get his points and assists in this one. He’ll get you at least value and his ceiling is higher given the pace of the Kings and his relatively low salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
