High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (vs MIN – $5,600): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. Oubre Jr. continues to deliver. He had 33 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 20. He’s doing nothing in the assist department but providing plenty of value with his scoring and rebounding. I see no reason to doubt him given how well he’s been playing. The Timberwolves remain a good matchup for just about any team in the league right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (at TOR – $5,200): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Bogdanovic had 50.5 fantasy points against the Nets on Monday. He’s been a bit all over the place since the Kings welcomed back Bagley and threw their rotation a bit off. But minutes typically aren’t an issue and he can do a bit of everything. I don’t love this matchup for him but maybe he impresses once again. Diagnosis: High ceiling but there are red flags.

Wesley Matthews (vs LAC – $4,400): Needs 20.1 fantasy points. Matthews had 38.75 fantasy points against the Bucks on Monday. He’s a bit more reliable than Harrison Barnes due to his less salary but Barnes has the overall higher salary due to the number of shots he gets in a game. Matthews had just 9 fantasy points the last time these two teams met. He won’t be that bad again. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
