High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

TJ Warren (vs MIN – $5,700): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. Warren had 31.5 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 20. His value is still tied to his scoring but the shots will continue to be there for him. And he’s settled into a solid salary given what he’s capable of when it comes to his scoring numbers. He’s fairly reliable just based on the number of shots he’ll end up getting. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Jerami Grant (vs POR – $5,300): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Grant has been strong for the Thunder in recent outings. He had just 18.25 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 4 but there’s a reason to think he’ll have a better outing on Tuesday. The minutes are there, he gets his points and he always makes a couple of defensive plays. He’s a reliable option if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at OKC – $5,100): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Aminu was down to 19 fantasy points against the Jazz on Monday. I’m not too concerned as his minutes are still there and he just makes plays on most nights. He had 40.25 fantasy points against the Thunder on Jan. 4. A role player always steps up in this matchup and hurts OKC. Aminu is a good bet given his usual minutes. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
