High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Paul George (vs POR – $10,400): Needs 43.6 fantasy points. George had 44.8 fantasy points in 31 minutes against the Knicks on Monday. It doesn’t matter the score or the circumstances, George has delivered this season. He should be in form in this one and if the Blazers have tired legs on the late back-to-back, George will be the guy to take advantage of them. And even if this is the usual close contest between these two teams, George will put up his typical scoring, rebounding and assist number while chipping in with defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Kawhi Leonard (vs SAC – $10,300): Needs 43.2 fantasy points. And if you want to save $100, there’s Kawhi. The matchup may not be quite as good as this one might turn into a blowout but if it’s close, Leonard’s is just as good as George. Maybe he’s not quite as reliable as George but his ceiling is just as high. And he’s still a consistent option on top of that. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

TJ Warren (vs MIN – $6,200): Needs 26 fantasy points. Warren slips in under the salary line but it’s a rough night at power forward. His value is still largely tied to his scoring but the good news is that he’ll continue to get shots as the Suns need offense from someone, especially with Ayton out of the lineup. Warren had 31.3 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 20 and the circumstances are better for him in the rematch. Diagnosis: A bit inconsistent but a good salary and ceiling.
