High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (vs MIN – $6,100): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. Oubre continues to deliver of the Suns. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in his last four games. He’s a better option than Warren at this point just because he’s playing better and doing a bit more in other categories. I have no concerns about Oubre’s game right now. He brings it on every night and he’ll bring it once again in this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Maurice Harkless (at OKC – $4,500): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. Harkless was down to 14.7 fantasy points against the Jazz on Monday. But he usually plays well against the Thunder and had 28.1 fantasy points against them on Jan. 4. He’s a role player that steps up in this game because role players for the Blazers always step up against the Thunder. You can also go with Evan Turner in this position as he is more reliable of the two. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but a good ceiling.

Dorian Finney-Smith (vs LAC – $3,900): Needs 16.3 fantasy points. Finney-Smith has been a nice spark off the bench for the Mavericks and was up to 30 fantasy points against the Bucks on Monday. He’s not exactly consistent but he does a bit of everything and it’s a good matchup as the Clippers are shorthanded with their depth. The back-to-back is a bit concerning but DFS (he was born to deliver in DFS) typically has the energy to burn. Diagnosis: A tad inconsistent but a good ceiling.
