High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jerami Grant (vs POR – $6,400): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. Grant had 30.2 fantasy points against the Knicks on Monday. He’s been a reliable option for the Thunder but his salary continues to climb, which is a bit worrying. That said, the minutes and opportunities are there for him. He wasn’t good against Portland in the Jan. 4 game, finishing with just 18.4 fantasy points but there’s a reason to believe he’ll bounce back with a strong performance. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at OKC – $5,900): Needs 25.7 fantasy points. Aminu had just 19.7 fantasy points against the Jazz on Monday. I’m not too worried as the minutes will continue to be there and he does a bit of everything. Much like Harkless, he’s a role player who steps up in this matchup. There are red flags for the Blazers coming into this matchup but there are also red flags around the Thunder. Mainly, they are the Thunder. Aminu should do enough to at least get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Taj Gibson (at PHO – $5,300): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. Gibson had 28 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 20. He’s been all over the place this season but the matchup remains good if Ayton and Holmes are unable to play. I’m going to assume that the minutes will be there for him and if they are, he’ll chip in with enough points and rebounds to make him worth your while. Diagnosis: Good matchup and ceiling but minutes are a bit over the place.
