The Miami Dolphins are another team who moved on from their head coach already this offseason, as Adam Gase’s run at the helm came to an end after another losing season. Gase did lead the team to the playoffs as a Wild Card team a few years back, but never got that consistent play needed to compete in a very competitive AFC.

As they look to turn the page and find their next head coach, Miami seems to have their eyes set on Brian Flores, a defensive coach for the New England Patriots. Flores, who is in charge of the play-calling for the Patriots’ defense, is heading to the Super Bowl after his Patriots beat a very tough offense in Kansas City this past weekend.

Whoever is at the helm next season,  they have a lot of work to do, as the Dolphins have deficiencies on both sides of the ball. Not only do they not know what they are going to do with the quarterback position, but they also need to revamp the defense, bringing in some young talent on the edge.

Jachai Polite is a guy who is going to be an electric player at the next level, as he has that uncanny ability to get after the quarterback. With Cameron Wake aging, and the defense struggling to get pressure all season long, Polite makes a lot of sense for Miami, who has been rumored at looking at the 2020 NFL Draft for their next quarterback.
