2019 NFL mock draft: Jaguars get Kyler Murray
By Brad Weiss
The Cleveland Browns are a team on the rise, and this past season, they nearly made it to the .500 mark. The incredible thing is, they really started rolling after they got rid of their head coach, dismissing Hue Jackson after winning only three games during the three seasons he was at the helm of the franchise.
As they look to the future, they are going to go with Freddie Kitchens as their new head coach, and he has a fantastic rapport with franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield. It is fairly clear now that Mayfield and Jackson did not get along very well, and it will be interesting to see how Kitchens does in 2019 in his first season as a head coach.
Mayfield was a pretty controversial first overall pick in 2018, but he showed why the Browns loved him so much with his incredible play on the field. He is the kind of leader this organization has lacked for years, and it would make sense for Cleveland to stockpile talent around him moving forward.
There are a handful of first round wide receivers in this draft class, and N’Keal Harry from Arizona State is definitely one of them. Harry has been the best Pac-12 wideout for the past two years, and in Cleveland, he would be a nice fit in the passing game alongside Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, and David Njoku.
