18. player. 60. . Offensive Lineman. Oklahoma. Cody Ford

The Minnesota Vikings came into the 2018 NFL season with high expectations, as the hope was they could take the next step in their development. Last season,  the Vikings made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game, and with Kirk Cousins added at quarterback, the stage was set for them to possibly make it to the Super Bowl.

Well, a lot of things went wrong in Minnesota this season, and while Cousins was solid, they just could not play consistent football. They struggled on defense early on, which was quite a shock, and the offensive line was pretty terrible throughout. Minnesota should use a first rounder to bolster that unit.

Cody Ford is a guy who is as exciting an offensive lineman as there is in this draft class, and he would be a perfect addition in Minnesota. He has the ability to play all over the offensive line, and after seeing all the holes along the Vikings offensive front this past season, utilizing a top-20 pick on arguably the best overall lineman in the draft class makes a lot of sense.

Cousins is always going to put up good numbers, and Dalvin Cook should be much better in year three after coming off the knee injury. Minnesota has a chance to get right back in the mix in the NFC this upcoming season, so do not go writing them off just yet.
