Wide Receiver. Ole Miss. A.J. Brown. 22. player. 26.

The Baltimore Ravens had a big choice to make this past season, as rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson replaced the injured Joe Flacco and was leading the team to victories. When Flacco got healthy, the team decided to roll with Jackson instead, signaling the end to Flacco’s career as the franchise quarterback in Baltimore.

While Jackson played very well as a rookie, leading the Ravens to an AFC North title, he could not get it done in the playoffs, something Flacco was known for. The Ravens were eliminated at home by the Los Angeles Chargers, and Jackson really struggled early, before finding his groove in the fourth quarter.

Still, he is a rookie, and should only get better as the years go on, but the team has to find more weapons to put around him. They drafted tight end Hayden Hurst in the first round in 2018, and in 2019, they should look to bring in a player who can line up on the outside and really do damage with the deep ball.

With their first round pick in 2019, the Ravens should look to add a wide receiver, and AJ Brown from Ole Miss would be a nice grab at No. 22 overall. Brown has the ability to take the lid off a defense like few other players in this draft class, and it would be smart of the Ravens to add more young talent around Jackson in the passing game.
