High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Joel Embiid (vs SA – $10,500): Needs 49.9 fantasy points. Embiid had 63 fantasy points in 27 minutes against the Rockets on Jan. 21. He”s been a force all season and the Rockets were an excellent matchup for him. The Spurs are a tougher matchup but I’m not doubting Embiid right now. He had just 33.75 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 17. I have to imagine he’ll be better back at home. And if Simmons and Butler are out, Embiid will deliver once again. Also, shoutout to Corey Brewer, who you can take as a punt option once again if he starts. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (at BKN – $9,300): Needs 44.2 fantasy points. Vucevic has been over 45 fantasy points in his last four games and was up to 55.5 fantasy points against the Hawks on Jan. 21. He had 50.25 fantasy points against the Nets on Jan. 18. I expect big outings from the stars in this game once again because the style of each team lends itself to DFS numbers. Vucevic will get his. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Myles Turner (vs TOR – $6,600): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. Turner had 38 fantasy points against the Hornets on Jan. 20. He had 42 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Raptors on Dec. 19. He’s been excellent this season and they’ll need him to log big minutes given the Raptors frontcourt. And if the Raptors do have tired legs on a back-to-back, Turner can take advantage of them. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
