Players costing $6,250 or under

Derrick White (at PHI – $5,400): Needs 25 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting with White on most nights. He’s a steady hand who plays plenty of minutes and does a bit of everything. His numbers have dipped recently but the Sixers might be short handed and already have depth issues. Expect White to be much better in this game than he has been for the last week or so. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Darren Collison (vs TOR – $5,200): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. Collison had 40.75 fantasy points against the Hornets on Jan. 20. He continues to be good for the Pacers as Oladipo defers more and more to the rest of his teammates. The Raptors are on a back-to-back, but that hasn’t really bothered him this season. This should be a competitive game with Collison stepping up as he’s been doing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Dwyane Wade (vs LAC – $4,800): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Wade was down to 20.5 fantasy points against the Celtics on Jan. 21. His minutes were down and I expected more from him but this has been a matchup he’s fared well against. He had 46.5 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 8 and a 52.75 fantasy point effort against them last year. And with the Clippers on a back-to-back, they could have some tired legs. Expect a bounce back performance from Wade in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable, proven matchup and a high ceiling.
