Players costing over $6,250

Blake Griffin (at NO – $9,700): Needs 45 fantasy points. It looks like Andre Drummond will remain out of the lineup which means it’ll be more of Blake being Blake. He’s been reliable enough during this stretch and he’s flashed a high ceiling. He’ll have more room to maneuver with Anthony Davis out of the lineup. The scoring and rebounding will be there but his assist numbers have taken a big hit. Probably because everyone else on the Pistons stinks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Julius Randle (vs DET – $8,400): Needs 38.9 fantasy points. Randle had 44.5 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 21. He’s been reliable since Davis has been out of the lineup. And now he gets the Pistons. This should be a big game for Randle as he does a bit of everything. Yeah, he’ll have to battle Blake, but he won’t have to battle Drummond. Randle should produce in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

LaMarcus Aldridge (at PHI – $8,300): Needs 38.5 fantasy points. Aldridge was up to 55.5 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 20. DeRozan’s game has gone down the sink which has meant Aldridge has had to do more in all areas. And he’s stepped up. The Sixers don’t have a great defense and Aldridge hits tough shots anyway. He also had 43 fantasy points in 27 minutes against the Sixers on Dec. 17. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
