FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 23, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kawhi Leonard (at IND – $10,300): Needs 43.1 fantasy points. Ok, Kawhi is definitely playing this game. I think. He has to play at some point again this season. Then again. We saw what happened last year with the Spurs. If Kawhi doesn’t play you should be able to save a lot of money at this position to help fill out the rest of your roster. And if he does play, you can build your team around Kawhi because you know what you’re getting from him. He’s very reliable and has a high ceiling. And he’ll be well-rested. If he plays. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Tobias Harris (at MIA – $8,000): Needs 33.5 fantasy points. Harris had 31.4 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Tuesday. He’s been reliable all season so chalk it up to an off-night and move on. He’ll be better in this game because of circumstances. Lou Williams is back but they are still missing Gallinari and Harrell isn’t doing much of anything right now. Expect Harris to bounce back with a strong performance in this one. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Nikola Mirotic (vs DET – $6,700): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. Mirotic was up to 36.7 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 21. With Davis out of the lineup he should continue to get more shots and rebounding opportunities. This is certainly a good matchup because the Pistons are not good. He’s been inconsistent since returning to the lineup but the circumstances remain good with Davis out. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
