High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Karl-Anthony Towns (at LAL – $10,200): Needs 48.4 fantasy points. Towns was at 65.5 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 22. He’s coming off back-to-back 60-plus fantasy point games. But both games were against a banged up Suns team, so does it really count? The Lakers frontcourt isn’t much better, even if Zubac is the best center in the league. Towns is always reliable as long as he’s out of foul trouble. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jusuf Nurkic (at PHO – $8,000): Needs 37.9 fantasy points. Nurkic had 47.25 fantasy points against the Thunder on Jan. 22. He’s been fantastic over the last four games for the Blazers and now he gets the Suns. The only concern here is that it becomes a blowout and limits his minutes, but he’ll put up numbers in the minutes he does play, especially with the current frontcourt situation in Phoenix. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling, but could be limited in a blowout.

Steven Adams (vs NO – $6,600): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. Adams had 34 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 22. You typically know what you’re getting from Adams. He’s been a reliable option for most of the season and he’s always a double-double threat. Not having to battle Anthony Davis should certainly help his numbers in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
