High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Ivica Zubac (vs MIN – $4,700): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. You can go with Zubac or McGee in this spot. I like Zubac a bit more as he should keep getting more playing time. But McGee delivers even in limited minutes and is a bit cheaper. Zubac plays a reliable game and the Lakers should probably keep playing him more. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Kevon Looney (at WAS – $4,200): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. Even though Cousins is back, Looney is still seeing decent minutes because the Warriors keep blowing teams out. Looney is making the most of his minutes and it’s the Wizards, who don’t really have many good frontcourt options. Looney is reliable enough at this salary and if it’s another blowout, he’ll be even better. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Jahlil Okafor (at OKC – $4,900): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. Okafor continues to deliver for the Pelicans and with Nikola Mirotic likely out of the lineup, it’s going to mean more minutes and opportunities for Okafor. The matchup isn’t great with it being a back-to-back and the Thunder have a solid frontcourt in their starting unit but someone has to fill in for Davis and now Mirotic and Okafor has proven himself very capable. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
