Players costing $6,250 or under

Tomas Satoransky (vs GS – $5,400): Needs 25 fantasy points. Satoransky has been a tad all over the place as the starter but the good usually outweighs the bad with him. The matchup isn’t great as the Warriors are going scorched earth on these teams right now and the Wizards won’t be the team to stop them. But he’s at a good salary and gets the minutes to produce. He’ll be fine in this game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Elfrid Payton (at OKC – $5,400): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. This is Payton’s matchup. I don’t know what it is about him against OKC but he continues to deliver. He’s averaging 39.5 fantasy points in his last three games against the Thunder. It’s a back-to-back but minutes typically aren’t an issue. It is a back-to-back which is the only real concern. But players who play well against OKC, always play well against OKC. Diagnosis: A tad inconsistent but a high ceiling.

Jerryd Bayless (at LAL – $3,600): Needs 16.7 fantasy points. Bayless had 35.5 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 22. With the injuries to the Timberwolves point guards he’s seeing some extra minutes and producing well enough. As long as the Wolves are still without Teague and Jones in this game then you can take Bayless with confidence because the minutes should be there. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
