DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 24, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jerami Grant (vs NO – $5,000): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. Grant was down to 24.25 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 22. He’s been fairly reliable during this stretch and is at a good salary. Not having to deal with Anthony Davis should help his rebounding numbers in this game. And it’ll help him in the paint as well. The minutes are always there for him and he comes up with defense on most nights. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Dragan Bender (vs POR – $4,600): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Bender has been in the starting lineup the last two games with injuries and he’s been at 30 fantasy points in both games. As long as he’s still starting due to the injuries, you can keep taking him. Someone has to get those points and rebounds in the frontcourt for the Suns and Bender is the guy right now. Diagnosis: Good circumstances and ceiling.
DeMarcus Cousins (at WAS – $5,800): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. Cousins saw his minutes go up but his production go down against the Lakers. His salary remains decent enough as he’ll continue to get more minutes as he gets himself back into the flow of the game. And the Wizards have no one who can stop him in the frontcourt. He’s reliable if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
