Players costing $6,667 or under

Tomas Satoransky (vs GS – $6,000): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. Satoransky has been good more often than not as the starter. Minutes are not an issue for him and he can do a bit of everything. I don’t love the matchup because the Warriors are just running teams off the floor with Cousins and the Wizards definitely aren’t good enough to keep them from doing it. So proceed with some caution. Diagnosis: Good ceiling but a tough matchup.

Elfrid Payton (at OKC – $5,700): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Payton had a rough outing against the Pistons on Wednesday but the minutes and opportunities are still there for him. And this is a matchup he typically plays well against. He averaged 41.3 fantasy points in three games against the Thunder last season. And Thunder killers are usually Thunder killers. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a good ceiling.

Jerryd Bayless (at LAL – $4,000): Needs 17.1 fantasy points. Bayless had 35.3 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 22. With the injuries to Jones and Teague, Bayless will continue to get minutes and opportunities for the Suns. And the Lakers are pretty short on depth, especially if Rondo is out once again. Bayless should be in for another good outing in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
