FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 24, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
Jrue Holiday (at OKC – $9,500): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting from Holiday. He’s been reliable all season and his ceiling gets raised a tad without Davis just because he’s tasked with doing more. He’s been solid against the Thunder this season. I have no doubt about Holiday’s game right now. You can take him with confidence knowing you’re going to get at least value out of him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Devin Booker (vs POR – $8,300): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. Booker hasn’t been good in the last two games but his minutes were down due to an ejection against the Timberwolves. Assuming he’s not slap boxing anyone in this game, I like him to return to form. The opportunities will continue to be there for him and with TJ Warren likely out of the lineup, Booker will have to pick up his scoring. Diagnosis: Cold but a high ceiling.
Klay Thompson (at WAS – $7,200): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. Klay was up to 51.6 fantasy points against the Lakers on Jan. 21. Klay is always a slight risk because his value is tied to his scoring and there’s a chance that he’s just cold from the field. But there’s a higher chance that he simply doesn’t miss. So, while he’s a risk, he’s a calculated risk. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
