High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

CJ McCollum (at PHO – $6,600): Needs 28.3 fantasy points. McCollum had 38.1 fantasy points against the Thunder on Jan. 21. If Lillard doesn’t end up playing in this game, it means more opportunities for McCollum as he’ll be the primary scoring option. And it’s the Suns, so the scoring opportunities will definitely be there for him in this one. Even if Lillard plays, McCollum is fairly reliable. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling if Lillard is out.

Dennis Schroder (vs NO – $5,700): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Schroder was down to 20.2 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 22. He hasn’t been great during this recent stretch for the Thunder but he never lacks for shots. And the Pelicans depth isn’t all that good so Schroder should be able to take advantage of their weak bench. The ceiling is high just because of how many shots he takes. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but a good ceiling.

Josh Okogie (at LAL – $4,800): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. Okogie had 35 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 22. He’s in the starting lineup but his minutes are a bit all over the place and he’s not exactly reliable. I’m not opposed to looking at someone like Andre Iguodala or even Terrence Ferguson in this spot. But Okogie has proven a bit more on a game-to-game basis than those guys. Diagnosis: A bit inconsistent but a decent ceiling.
