High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Paul George (vs NO – $10,800): Needs 45.1 fantasy points. George was up to 66.6 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 22. He’s as steady as they come and he has a high ceiling. He does a bit of everything and sees a big boost to his value with his defensive game. The Pelicans are on a back-to-back and already have a poor defense. This should be another strong night for George at the office. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kevin Durant (at WAS – $9,500): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting out of Durant. He’s a steady hand in Golden State and the ceiling is high with his scoring. He’s not as reliant on his scoring as Klay or even Klay. And the Warriors can pretty much pick who they want to have the big game. And Durant seems like a good option given his ties to Washington. Diagnosis: The Warriors might placate Durant, leading to a big night. If not, he’s still very reliable.

Trevor Ariza (vs GS – $7,000): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Ariza was up to 40.4 fantasy points against the Pistons on Jan. 21. He’s been strong for the Wizards more often than not this season. You can also go with Otto Porter Jr in this spot as he’s had some big games against the Warriors last season and has been strong coming off the bench. But Ariza gets more minutes and seems to do more on a nightly basis. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
