High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Brandon Ingram (vs MIN – $6,600): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. I don’t love Brandon Ingram. I’m never going to love Brandon Ingram. He’s been disappointing too many times this year. But it’s a slow night and Ingram never lacks for minutes or opportunities. And if Rondo ends up playing, that will help Ingram because it takes some responsibility away from him. And it’s not like the Timberwolves are a great defensive team. Diagnosis: Very inconsistent but a good ceiling.

Kelly Oubre Jr (vs POR – $6,000): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. Oubre has turned into a reliable option and his minutes should be up with Warren out of the lineup. It’s a reason why I like the guy listed under Oubre as well. But Oubre is far more reliable and has shown a much higher ceiling. Expect Oubre to fill part of the void that Warren leaves with his injury. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Mikal Bridges (vs POR – $4,200): Needs 17.5 fantasy points. No TJ Warren could mean more minutes for Bridges. He’s in the starting lineup and playing nearly 30 minutes on most nights as it is, which is the good news. He’s not always doing a lot with those minutes but at least the opportunities are there. He’s not reliable in a single category but the opportunities could be raised with the injury to Warren. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and a good ceiling.
