Players costing over $6,250

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs CHA – $10,700): Needs 48 fantasy points. It’s Giannis. You can take him with all the confidence in the world. He delivers every single time he’s on the court, even in blowouts. And as mentioned earlier, I have some confidence that the Hornets will make this a competitive game. His ceiling isn’t as high as Harden’s because that’s not his style but he’s just as reliable. Diagnosis: You can always build around Giannis with confidence.

Blake Griffin (at DAL – $9,900): Needs 45.9 fantasy points. Blake had 62.25 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 23. With Drummond out of the lineup, he continues to need to do more. And he’s been delivering. The Mavericks are good at home but Blake gets numbers in all categories and is always a low-end triple-double threat while being a double-double guarantee. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (at HOU – $6,400): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. Siakam had 33.75 fantasy points against the Pacers on Jan. 23. Kawhi being back in the lineup takes some pressure off of. And I love this matchup because I’m still not high on the Rockets frontcourt, even though I do like the addition of Faried. Siakam should get his in the paint with his scoring and rebounding. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
