Players costing $6,667 or under

Jarrett Allen (vs NY – $6,600): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Allen has been down a bit ever since his monster performance against the Rockets but now he gets the Knicks. This should be a big bounce-back game for him because the Knicks stink. And with Dinwiddie out of the lineup, Allen could see more opportunities as the Nets run a bit more offense for him. He’s good for at least value but expect more, given the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Ante Zizic (vs MIA – $5,400): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. Zizic continues to play well for the Cavaliers and as long as he’s starting, you can take him with some confidence. Someone has to get points and rebounds for the Cavaliers in their frontcourt and Zizic is obviously the best option for them right now. Diagnosis: Still reliable due to circumstances.

Bismack Biyombo (at MIL – $4,800): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Biyombo is nothing if not reliable. I don’t love this matchup for him because the Bucks are very good but he’s at a good salary and should continue to play big minutes for the Hornets. You can also look at Brook Lopez in this spot. He’s a bit pricier but has a higher ceiling and it’s never a bad idea to grab Bucks with the way they are playing. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
