High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Khris Middleton (vs CHA – $6,500): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. I’m torn between Middleton and Brogdon. Brogdon has the nicer salary but Middleton has the higher ceiling. Both guys have been down largely due to the Bucks just being so good. But this is a matchup that should produce a lot of offense and Middleton will get his shots. Maybe the rest will do him some good. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Buddy Hield (at MEM – $6,000): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Hield’s value largely depends on the status of Fox. With Fox out, Hield will become more of a playmaker to go along with his scoring. If you’re looking for a little lesser of a salary, I like Eric Gordon due to his opportunities and Brogdon is fairly reliable. But Hield will have good circumstances if Fox is out. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling if Fox is out.

Allonzo Trier (at BKN – $5,000): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. Trier has played very well for the Knicks in the last two games, going over 37 fantasy points in both contests. He’s getting minutes but I have no clue about the Knicks rotations. He could just as easily play zero minutes in this game. But the matchup is good and Trier remains at a good salary given his usual production. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
