Players costing over $6,667

Blake Griffin (at DAL – $10,100): Needs 43.5 fantasy points. Griffin has been excellent for the Pistons since Drummond went down with his injury. He does a bit of everything and scoring won’t be an issue for him. The Mavericks are a good team at home but someone has to contribute for the Pistons and Blake will continue to be that guy. I have no doubts about Griffin right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Montrezl Harrell (at CHI – $7,200): Needs 31 fantasy points. Harrell hasn’t been great during this stretch and I’m not a huge fan of him but I’m also not a huge fan of Lauri Markkanen. At least the Clippers are playing the Bulls, which makes for a better matchup for Harrell. He should get points and rebounds in this one but I need to see more from him before I call him reliable. Diagnosis: Good matchup and ceiling but ice cold.

Serge Ibaka (at HOU – $6,700): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. Ibaka was up to 49.7 fantasy points against the Pacers on Jan. 23. And now he gets the Rockets. Their frontcourt issues are well-known and Ibaka has been very good for most of this season. I love this matchup for him and expect him to deliver in a big way. And he’s a guy who can stay on the floor with his defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
