High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Darren Collison (at MEM – $5,600): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. Unfortunately for the Pacers and NBA fans, Victor Oladipo is out of the season. That means many on the Pacers will have to step up. They’ve played without Oladipo for many games this season but it’s a different beast knowing the guy won’t return for the rest of the season. Collison has been strong and he’ll need to be even better here. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Marcus Smart (vs GS – $5,500): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. This is a Marcus Smart game. They will need his defense and grit if they want to slow down the Warriors offense. And they probably still won’t slow down the Warriors offense. But at least Smart will make it tough for them. He’s been very inconsistent and he’s never reliable but I love this matchup. Diagnosis: A gut feeling based on everything we know about Marcus Smart.

T.J. McConnell (at DEN – $4,000): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. McConnell has been solid for the Sixers and he’ll have to be even better in this game because the Sixers are going to be without Embiid and Butler. McConnell has proven that he can step up and they are getting the Nuggets on a back-to-back, which should help their cause a bit. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
