High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

JJ Redick (at DEN – $5,600): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. Redick had 32.25 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 23. With Butler and Embiid out, Redick will likely see more shooting opportunities as he’s one of their more reliable offensive players. And maybe the Nuggets have tired legs on the back-to-back and don’t feel like chasing him around as hard. Redick should be in for a strong outing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Tyreke Evans (at MEM – $5,200): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Evans hasn’t been good this season but they’re going to need him in this game and for the rest of the season. He’s proven that he can step up and lead a team offensively. And he had 28 fantasy points against the Grizzlies in October. It’s his return to Memphis so it’s a revenge game as well. He’s a slight risk because he’s proven very little this season. But there are a lot of positive signs in this one. Diagnosis: A risk but a very high ceiling based on circumstances and matchup.

Marcus Morris (vs GS – $4,800): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. Morris has been solid in the last couple of games for the Celtics but this is a whole different matchup. And the matchup is why I like Morris on Saturday. I know he’s going to bring his game in this one. He’s going to make it as tough as possible on the Warriors and he can do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
