High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

John Collins (at POR – $8,000): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. Collins was up to 53 fantasy points against the Bulls on Jan. 23. The Blazers are a much tougher team than the Bulls and Collins’ salary remains high. He wasn’t great against good teams prior to the Bulls game, which has me a bit worried about his value in this game. The opportunities will certainly be there. Diagnosis: High ceiling but not a great matchup.

Domantas Sabonis (at MEM – $6,700): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. Sabonis had 23.5 fantasy points in 14 minutes against the Raptors on Jan. 23. The minutes should be up with Oladipo out of the lineup. But minutes overall remain a concern for him. Especially at this salary. He does damage even in limited minutes but he really needs to do more to justify the take. Diagnosis: Minutes are the only concern but the ceiling is good.

Draymond Green (at BOS – $6,300): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Draymond had 37.25 fantasy points against the Wizards on Jan. 24. You never know what you’re going to get out of Draymond because he’s not reliable in a single category and the Celtics are definitely going to play him to his weakness. But he does a bit of everything and just gets numbers by osmosis being on this team. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
