High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jayson Tatum (vs GS – $5,600): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. Tatum hasn’t been great in the last couple of games but don’t be too concerned. The salary is down and he still plays good minutes. And this is a game where he’ll need to step up and I trust him to do so. For the Celtics to have any chance in this game, Tatum will need to provide points and play tough defense. I’m going to trust him to make an impact. Diagnosis: A slight risk but a high ceiling.

JaMychal Green (vs IND – $4,700): Needs 21.1 fantasy points. Green had 25.75 fantasy points against the Kings on Friday. I have no clue who is going to get the minutes between him and Triple J. But one of them seems to hit well when the other one doesn’t. If you want someone more reliable in this spot, Aminu has a great matchup and Plumlee is at a good salary given his usual minutes. But I’ve just got a sneaky feeling about Green. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling. Again, Plumlee and Aminu are more reliable options.

Jonah Bolden (at DEN – $4,100): Needs 18.5 fantasy points. This is all about the circumstances. With Embiid out, Bolden should seem some increased minutes. He’s been good in short bursts this season and given the Nuggets frontcourt, Bolden figures to matchup well against them. There’s always a chance that the minutes aren’t there and the Sixers go with a different rotation. But if the minutes are there, he could hit big. Diagnosis: A risk because minutes are not certainly. But a good ceiling if the minutes are there.
