High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Al Horford (vs GS – $6,600): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Horford was up to 44.4 fantasy points against the Heat on Jan. 21. His minutes are back up and the Celtics will definitely need him to produce in this game. He was good against the Warriors last season, averaging 35.2 fantasy points in two games. But this is a different Warriors squad and Horford hasn’t shown to be quite as good this season. Diagnosis: Minutes will be there and ceiling is good but he’s inconsistent overall.

DeMarcus Cousins (at BOS – $6,400): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. Cousins’ minutes continue to increase, which is the good news. As he gets more comfortable, his production will go up. This is the first tough matchup for the Warriors with Cousins back. And he could prove a lot in this game. Or it could show that he’s not quite back to the form we know he’s capable of. I’ll trust the Warriors. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.

Dewayne Dedmon (at POR – $6,300): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. Dedmon has been good for the Hawks in recent outings, going over 32 fantasy points in three of his last four games. The minutes are typically there and he can do a bit of everything. They’ll need him in this matchup as the Blazers have an underrated frontcourt. He should be reliable if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
