High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (at BOS – $9,400): Needs 39.5 fantasy points. Much like Curry, you just know what you’re getting from Durant. But I like Durant better just because he is more reliable due to his ability to get numbers in all categories. But his ceiling isn’t quite as high because he doesn’t get hot like Curry gets hot. Get it? Curry. Hot. Look, it’s a long season and the Warriors are inevitable. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

JJ Redick (at DEN – $6,100): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. With the injuries to the Sixers, Redick is in a good spot. He’s fairly reliable as it is but with Butler and Embiid out, Redick stands to get more shots than usual. And even though this could be a blow out for the Nuggets, maybe they’ll have semi-tired legs on the back-to-back. Redick will get you at least value but the ceiling is much higher if he gets hot. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

DeAndre’ Bembry (at POR – $5,600): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Bembry was down to 15.7 fantasy points against the Bulls on Jan. 23. He’s been up-and-down in his last four games. He was down against the Bulls so if the trend continues, he should be back up in this one. The matchup is tough but he gets solid minutes and if Huerter is out the opportunities will continue to be there. Diagnosis: Inconsistent but a good ceiling.
