Players costing over $6,667

John Collins (at POR – $8,500): Needs 36.6 fantasy points. Collins was up to 51.6 fantasy points against the Bulls on Jan. 23. It’s the Bulls, so don’t go crazy just yet. The more concerning thing is that he’s struggled against good teams prior to the Bulls game. And the Blazers are a good team. This salary just feels too high for him but the minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. Diagnosis: High ceiling but a tough matchup.

Domantas Sabonis (at MEM – $6,900): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. Sabonis had 23.7 fantasy points in 14 minutes against the Raptors on Jan. 23. His minutes should be up in this one as they’ll need his skills more with Oladipo out. And the matchup is good because the Grizzlies are just a bad basketball team. But I still don’t like his overall lack of minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable but lack of minutes hurt his ceiling.

Draymond Green (at BOS – $6,700): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. Green had 35.5 fantasy points against the Wizards on Jan. 24. He doesn’t typically put up big numbers in a single category and this is a tough matchup due to the Celtics’ talent. But the minutes are there and he does a bit of everything. He’s at a good enough salary to where he should at least get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
