DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 27, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Donovan Mitchell (at MIN – $8,800): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. Mitchell had 54.25 fantasy points when these two teams met the other night. He’s been outstanding for the Jazz even with Rubio back in the lineup and I’m not doubting him at the moment. The matchup remains good although the Timberwolves will be at home and will have had a day off, so they should be a bit better prepared. Still, the Timberwolves aren’t a good team compared to the Jazz and they won’t have an answer for Mitchell. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyle Lowry (at DAL – $7,400): Needs 34.4 fantasy points. Lowry has been nothing if not consistent over the last week or so. And this is a good matchup for him as the Mavericks aren’t great and the Raptors should be extra hungry after how their last couple of games went. He had 48 fantasy points in the Oct. 26 meeting between these two teams. He should be in for his usual night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Justise Winslow (at NY – $6,300): Needs 28.8 fantasy points. Winslow was up to 41.75 fantasy points against the Cavalers on Jan. 25. It was the Cavaliers but it’s not like the Knicks are much better. And Winslow has been playing well as the point forward. His assist numbers should be back up in this one and his scoring numbers will continue to be there because everyone scores on the Knicks. He’s also at a good price compared to the rest of the high salary guards. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
