High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (vs ORL – $13,700): Needs 63.4 fantasy points. Harden was down to 49 fantasy points against the Raptors and it’s possible that Chris Paul is back in this one, which is going to make it tougher on Harden to get his usual numbers. But it will also free him up for more assist opportunities. The salary is still very high but you’re getting at least 50 fantasy points out of him. Not close to value but still 50 fantasy points. Diagnosis: You can never go wrong with Harden but there are a few red flags in this game. But he’s always capable of breaking the system.

Bradley Beal (at SA – $9,000): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. Beal continues to play well with Wall out of the lineup and had 50 fantasy points against the Magic on Jan. 25. The bad news is that this is a tough matchup as the Spurs typically do a good job of taking out the top option on the other team. And Beal sometimes looks like the only option for the Wizards. Diagnosis: High ceiling but the matchup isn’t great given the Spurs typical defense.

Devin Booker (at LAL – $8,300): Needs 38.4 fantasy points. Of the three shooting guards, I happen to like Booker the most. Mainly because his circumstances, salary and matchup are the best out of the three. You know Booker is going to get plenty of scoring opportunities and the Lakers are just an all-around dreadful team with LeBron out of the lineup. Booker will come up big in Los Angeles. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
