FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 27, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Russell Westbrook (vs MIL – $12,300): Needs 52.6 fantasy points. Westbrook had 69.4 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 24. You typically know what you’re getting from Westbrook because he does a bit of everything. I don’t love the matchup as the Bucks defense is strong but it’s tough to doubt Westbrook given his ability to stuff the stat sheet. And the Thunder are at home, which should help given how well they typically play at home. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Kyle Lowry (at DAL – $7,500): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. Lowry is reliable if nothing else. The Mavericks can be a tough matchup at home but the Raptors should be hungry given how they’ve played in recent games. Lowry is always good for the assists, it’s just a matter of how many points he’s going to be able to get. I’ll trust that he can get his points in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
Rajon Rondo (vs PHO – $6,700): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. Rondo returned to the lineup on Jan. 24 and had 48.7 fantasy points. With LeBron and Lonzo still out, Rondo will continue to run the show in Los Angeles. And someone has to get those assists for the Lakers. He gets the Suns on Sunday which should help his value since the Suns are just no very good. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
