High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at OKC – $6,200): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Brogdon had 28.5 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Hornets on Jan. 25. The Bucks continue to roll on teams for the most part but this one should definitely be competitive. Until it’s not competitive because the Bucks are just that damn good. But Brogdon remains at a solid salary given his usual production and does a bit of everything on most nights. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Terrence Ross (at HOU – $5,200): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. It looks like the Nets game was just a rough night for Ross as he was back up to 31.2 fantasy points against the Wizards on Jan. 25. He too does a bit of everything and he had 27.8 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 13. I love his overall game and given how well he’s played, I’ll continue to trust him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Dwyane Wade (at NY – $5,000): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. Wade remains at a good salary given what he typically does on the court. The minutes are there and he’s a big game player. This isn’t a big game because the Knicks stick but it is a big game because it’s at the Garden. And while it might not be the last time the he’s at the Garden, you never know what could happen. And Wade will put on a show. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
