High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Kyrie Irving (vs BKN – $9,600): Needs 44.4 fantasy points. At this point, you should just expect 60 fantasy points from Irving. The scoring numbers are always there for him and he’s really racking up assists right now. This should be a competitive game even with the Nets injuries because they are still a scrappy team. He will do his thing as usual in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (at BOS – $8,600): Needs 39.6 fantasy points. Russell was down to 20.75 fantasy points against the Knicks on Jan. 25 but only played 24 minutes. His minutes should be up in this one as the Celtics are a much matchup. Russell did have 55.75 fantasy points against the Celtics on Jan. 14 and this is still his team with all the injuries. So the opportunities will continue to be there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Trae Young (at LAC – $6,700): Needs 31 fantasy points. Young was up to 48 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 26. He’s been very good in his last six games, going over 44 fantasy points in three of those contests. And he had 53.25 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 19. And the Clippers are on a back-to-back. So there are plenty of positive signs for Young in this game. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
