High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Steph Curry (at IND – $9,100): Needs 41.9 fantasy points. Curry was down to 34.75 fantasy points against the Celtics on Jan. 26. His scoring wasn’t where it will typically be and his other numbers were down across the board as well. He’s still a fairly reliable option on most nights just because of the team he’s on. Trust him to bounce back to at least value in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Lou Williams (vs ATL – $7,400): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. Williams was up to 38 fantasy points in 27 minutes against the Kings on Sunday. On most nights, Williams is going to get you value because he’s the best perimeter scorer on the team and runs the offense better than anyone else on the team. He should have no problem carving up the Atlanta defense with his scoring and playmaking ability. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Will Barton (at MEM – $6,900): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. Barton had 23 fantasy points against the Sixers on Jan. 26. I don’t like this salary too much for him because his minutes are still a bit down and this one could be a blowout since the Grizzlies just aren’t a very good team. But Jamal Murray might not play in this one, whoosh should increase the opportunities for Barton. Diagnosis: Inconsistent due to high salary and minutes issue, but a good ceiling and circumstances.
