High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Klay Thompson (at IND – $6,100): Needs 28 fantasy points. As always, Thompson can be a mixed bag. His value is largely tied to his scoring but he’s capable of posting monster scoring games without dribbling the ball. At this salary, he should be good enough to at least get you value. And if he’s hot in this game then he’ll obviously have a big game. And he could definitely get hot not having to deal with the defense of Oladipo. Diagnosis: A risk but a high reward.

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs GS – $5,600): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. You typically know what you’re getting from Bogdanovic. He had 28.25 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 26 and with Oladipo out he’ll continue to step up and do a bit of everything. And if he gets hot from the field, that’s even better news for his value. If nothing else, he;’s a very reliable option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jeremy Lamb (vs NY – $5,600): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. Lamb has been a bit up-and-down in the last week or so. He was technically down against the Bucks, finishing with 23 fantasy points. So the trend says he’ll be up and the matchup says he’ll be up as well. The Knicks are on a back-to-back and are obviously the Knicks. He had 36.25 fantasy points against them on Dec. 14. He’ll get it done in this one as well. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
