High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jaren Jackson Jr (vs DEN – $5,700): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. I don’t like the Grizzlies, I don’t know what’s going on with the Grizzlies, but Triple J is getting solid minutes at the moment and I do like his overall game. He’s been hit and miss against the Nuggets this season. He had 40.25 fantasy points on Nov. 7 but just 14.75 fantasy points on Dec. 10. If the truth is in the middle, he’ll get you at least value. Diagnosis: A slight risk but a high ceiling.

Dewayne Dedmon (at LAC – $5,500): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. Dedmon has been good for the Hawks and I like him more than John Collins at this point in DFS terms. Collins has the higher ceiling but he always has the much higher salary and isn’t producing like you want him to given his salary. Meanwhile, Dedmon continues to produce similar numbers on a much cheaper contract. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Marcus Morris (vs BKN – $4,900): Needs 22 fantasy points. You sort of know what you’re getting from Morris at this point. He’s at a good salary and gets the minutes to produce. And he never lacks for shots because he just shoots when he wants. He’ll also chip in with rebounds on most nights. He hasn’t been great against the Nets this season but given his usual minutes, this is just a good salary and someone you can round out your team with. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
