FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 28, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Bojan Bogdanovic (vs GS – $5,700): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. Bogdanovic is nothing if not reliable. Especially with Oladipo out of the lineup. He’s going to have to do more and he has a good ceiling with his scoring ability. The matchup isn’t great but someone on the Pacers has to contribute fantasy points and Bojan always gets the minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Taurean Prince (at LAC – $5,300): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. Prince has been all over the place for most of the season but he’s coming off a couple of good games and he’s done well against the Clippers in recent contests. He had 31.8 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 19 and had a 36.3 fantasy point outing against them last season. The Clippers are on a back-to-back so maybe that helps Prince’s cause as well. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
Nicolas Batum (vs NY – $5,000): Needs 21.1 fantasy points. Batum has played well for the Hornets in recent contests and now he gets the Knicks on a back-to-back. I’m all about stacking Hornets on Monday because the Knicks should be taken advantage of. And there is plenty of good value on the Hornets that will allow you to grab some high salary guys. Batum might be tasked with doing more if Kemba is out. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
