High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

John Collins (at LAC – $8,300): Needs 35.7 fantasy points. I’m not a fan of Collins at this salary. The ceiling is high but he hasn’t proven that he can consistently get you over 30 fantasy points. He did have 30.6 fantasy points in 21 minutes against the Clippers on Nov. 19 and should definitely play more minutes in this game. But I don’t exactly love him based on his recent play and the salary. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.

Draymond Green (at IND – $7,200): Needs 31 fantasy points. You sort of know what you’re getting from Draymond on most nights. The minutes are there and he plays next to four of the best players at their position, making it easy for him to get numbers in all categories. He’s not reliable in a single category but he does a bit of everything and is a reliable option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Montrezl Harrell (vs ATL – $7,000): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. Harrell had 34.4 fantasy points against the Kings on Sunday. He hasn’t really played well enough in recent games to justify this salary but the Hawks are a good matchup. And your only other option in the spot is Domantas Sabonis, who doesn’t get the guaranteed minutes and who has a tough matchup with the way the Warriors are looking. At least Harrell gets plenty of minutes to produce. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
